COURSE 03 · EYELINER TATTOOING · FOREST HILL
Our eyeliner tattoo course is face-to-face, hands-on training in Forest Hill, Melbourne. Olha Po, a licensed cosmetic tattoo artist who has worked professionally since 2016, teaches every class herself. Classes are small, so she can follow your progress closely while you learn to plan, place and care for a liner tattoo.
BEFORE THE NEEDLE
Eyeliner tattooing is more than running a machine along the lash line. Most of the skill is in the planning and judgement that happen before the needle reaches the skin.
STEP — PLANNING & SYMMETRY
You’ll learn to read eye shape, lash line and lid movement, then map a liner design that looks balanced on both sides without forcing exact symmetry.
STEP — PIGMENT
Colour theory and pigment choice for the eye area, including how a shade may settle and why careful selection matters for a client’s skin.
STEP — HYGIENE & SAFETY
The eye area is delicate. You’ll practise careful hygiene, a clean set-up, stable hand positioning and safety precautions throughout each step.
STEP — TECHNIQUE PRACTICE
Guided practice on line work, depth control and consistency, with Olha correcting your technique as you practise rather than at the end.
STEP — AFTERCARE
How to explain aftercare clearly to clients, and why consistent aftercare matters to how a liner tattoo heals.

WHO IT SUITS
If you’re new to cosmetic tattooing, we start with the basics: mapping, pigment, hygiene and hand control. You’ll build on each step before moving to the next. Where to start is a useful read before you enquire.
If you already work in beauty or PMU, the course can help you add eyeliner tattooing to your skills or refine your existing technique. You may also want to look at the Eyebrow Tattoo Course, the Lip Tattoo Course or the Cosmetic Tattoo Course Package.
EYE-AREA SAFETY
Eyeliner tattooing happens close to the lash line, so safety is part of every step of the course, not a note at the end.
Risk. Eyeliner tattooing is a practical procedure carried out close to the eye. Like all cosmetic tattooing, it carries risks, and we explain them plainly.
Training. Work this close to the eye needs appropriate training. The course is practical skills training, and completing it does not mean independent competency or approval to practise.
Hygiene. You’ll practise a clean, organised set-up and careful hygiene from preparation through to aftercare.
Safety precautions. Stable hand positioning, careful client positioning and steady, controlled technique are part of how every line is planned and placed.
Olha Po teaches every class herself, so she checks your safety habits as you practise. About Olha Po
