Laser Tattoo Removal Course: judgement first, then the laser

Our laser tattoo removal course is hands-on, face-to-face training in Forest Hill, Melbourne. It is taught in small classes by Olha Po, a licensed cosmetic tattoo artist who has worked professionally since 2016. Her background covers cosmetic tattoo correction and removal as well as brows, lips and eyeliner.

Removal asks for a different kind of care to tattooing. You are working with pigment someone else placed, often years ago, so this course puts careful assessment and safe practice ahead of speed.

Assess before you treat

Removal is more than operating a laser. Most of the skill lies in reading the tattoo and the skin, and knowing when to slow down or stop.

Reading the existing tattoo

Looking at placement, colour and how the pigment has settled before you plan any treatment.

How skin and pigment behave together, building on the colour theory we teach across all our courses.

Consultation and expectations

Talking clearly with clients about what removal involves, without promising any particular result.

Risk, hygiene and safety

Laser tattoo removal is a practical procedure that carries risks for clients. It must only be done with proper training, careful hygiene and appropriate safety precautions. The course treats these as core content, not a footnote.

Olha teaches as a cosmetic tattoo artist and trainer, not as a medical practitioner. Clients with health concerns should be referred to an appropriate health professional.

Who the course suits

The course is designed for adults building a career in the beauty industry and for beauty professionals and cosmetic tattoo artists who want to understand removal alongside the work they already do. Because classes are small, Olha can adjust her teaching to your starting point and follow your individual progress.
